Dear CLSA grad students,
As the Annual Meeting is fast approaching, so is the election for the CLSA Graduate Student Representative position. This is a two-year mandate, overlapping with the mandate of the other Graduate Student Representative. The current election will seek to replace Kerri Scheer, in order to share this mandate with Sabrina Tremblay-Huet for the upcoming year. The tasks related to this position are mainly to represent the interests of graduate students within the activities of the CLSA board; to communicate relevant information to graduate students (e.g.: funding opportunities) by email or social media, or through the CLSA newsletter; to coordinate student funding for CLSA meetings; and to organize social graduate student events in the context of the CLSA meetings. If you interested in submitting your candidacy for this position, please email Sabrina firstname.lastname@example.org, with a short bio and statement of interest, before May 19th, 2017. The election will be held through online voting, from May 22nd to June 2nd. Please note that you must be a CLSA member to act as Graduate Student Representative.
