On behalf of the 2017 Roderick A. Macdonald Graduate Student Essay Prize committee, I would invite you to circulate the attached call for submissions to graduate students working in the area of law and society at Canadian Universities. The Association Canadienne Droit et Société/Canadian Law and Society Association (ACDS/CLSA) awards this prize annually for the best paper written by a graduate student at a Canadian University on a topic concerning law and society. Submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. EST on May, 1st, 2017, and the winner will be announced during the ACDS/CLSA Annual Meeting as part of the International Meeting on Law and Society in Mexico City in June, 2017.Please see the attached Call for Submissions for details concerning the editorial guidelines and submission process.


We know that our graduate student colleagues at Canadian Universities are routinely producing compelling work in the law and society area, across a diversity of disciplines, and we look forward to their submissions!
